There was a voting back in 2016 where amatour triathletes were asking for votes, and whoever gets the most will get a ticket to Roth Ironman race. I did find out about this contest from the Run! Bo! blog as Bo was hoping to win this ticket. Obviously, she did get my vote. In addition to voting you can win sime prizes if you were keen to write a little letter about what's tri is all about and... I voted. And wrote a little essey. And forgot about the case in a couple of days.
Few weeks later I read that Bo won the ticket and I received an email with congratulations as I became a lucky owner of the mentioned watch. Nice.
I did not have a chance to test or wear it until 2-3 months later but it is my training buddy since.
What I do like in this watch:
- water resistance 100m,
- simplicity and ability to switch off the watch functions you don't use,
- big button for START/SPLIT timings,
- nice INDIGLO illumination.
What I do not like in this watch:
- strap does not hold tight, especially in long or fast swims, which can deconcetrate.
Overall, if you are looking for simple and water resistant watch with timer and split/lap times - look no further. Seal of approval from me.
